THE PRAYER CIRCLE

SENIOR LUNCHEON

EMC Littles Ministry

Parents and guardians, we see you. You pour so much love and energy into your families every day — and you deserve a space to rest, refocus, and be renewed in worship.

At EMC Littles, we believe even the smallest hearts can know the big love of Jesus.

Our Littles ministry creates a safe, joy-filled space where children can play, learn, and discover God’s love through stories, songs, and hands-on fun. Because worship isn’t just for the grown-ups — it’s for the whole family. When kids are loved and parents are spiritually fed, everyone grows stronger. 🌱

For more info or to let us know you're coming, please email:

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

Grief, a natural emotion, arises from loss, such as death, relationship end, or job loss. Understanding the grieving process leads to acceptance and healing.

Ruth Hyatt and Judy Wilke-Vogt co-facilitate a Grief Support Group every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at El Maguey Restaurant. This self-help group provides emotional, psychological, and moral support. Interested in joining?

Email jwilke19@austin.rr.com to sign up.

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

EMC has joined forces with Elgin Cares to host a drive-through meal at Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. This initiative aims to provide food assistance to our community. Elgin Methodist members generously contribute baked chicken quarters regularly, while others help package food for the meal on the first Friday of each month, serving hundreds of people in need.

TEXAS RAMP PROJECT

ELGIN CARES DRIVE-THRU

TEXAS RAMP PROJECT

The Ramp Project - Being the hands and feet of Jesus to our community.

Members of EMC and other Elgin churches take part in the Texas Ramp Project team in Elgin, providing and building free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local healthcare providers.  Ramps provide safety, independence, and an improved quality of life to clients and relief to their families and caregivers. They often allow clients to age in place at home, surrounded by those who love and care for them. The lives of qualifying individuals can be completely transformed. EMC volunteers are part of a team that has helped build over 100 ramps in the greater Elgin area.

Child and Youth Policy

Elgin Methodist Church is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children and youth who participate in our ministries. To ensure the highest standards of safety and accountability, all staff members and volunteers serving in our Kids and Youth Ministries are required to:

  • Complete a comprehensive background check prior to serving.

  • Successfully complete MinistrySafe training, which provides education and awareness in the prevention of abuse and the protection of minors.

These measures reflect our dedication to maintaining a trustworthy, responsible, and Christ-centered environment where every child and student can grow in faith with confidence and care.
