Our 11AM Blended service is a great way to start your week. We’ll start with a warm greeting, followed by a pastoral prayer. We’ll also have time for tithes and offerings, as well as some uplifting songs and scripture readings. On the first Sunday of the month, we’ll celebrate Holy Communion.
Our services are designed to be welcoming and uplifting, with a mix of contemporary and traditional music. Our Pastors will share a biblical message that’s sure to inspire you.
We want you to feel welcome and have a great time at our church. We’re a friendly and welcoming community, and we’re always happy to meet new people. If you have any questions, feel free to speak with any of our worship leaders, the pastor, or contact our church office. They’ll be happy to help you out.

Grief is a natural emotion that arises when you experience a loss of any kind, such as the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or even the loss of a job. Understanding the grieving process can ultimately lead to acceptance and healing. Ruth Hyatt and Judy Wilke-Vogt are co-facilitating a Grief Support Group every Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at El Maguey Restaurant. This is a self-help group, not a therapy group, and it aims to provide emotional, psychological, and moral support to its members. If you’re interested in joining, please email jwilke19@austin.rr.com to sign up.
EMC has joined forces with Elgin Cares to host a drive-through meal at Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church. This initiative aims to provide food assistance to our community. Elgin Methodist members generously contribute baked chicken quarters regularly, while others help package food for the meal on the first Friday of each month, serving hundreds of people in need.
Members of EMC and other Elgin churches take part in the Texas Ramp Project team in Elgin, providing and building free wheelchair ramps to low-income older adults and people with disabilities identified by local healthcare providers. Ramps provide safety, independence, and an improved quality of life to clients and relief to their families and caregivers. They often allow clients to age in place at home, surrounded by those who love and care for them. The lives of qualifying individuals can be completely transformed. EMC volunteers are part of a team that has helped build over 100 ramps in the greater Elgin area.
